Right after purchasing this 10-year-old home we knew that it needed some updating to feel young again.
Execution
Step #1, out with the Formica & in with the Fantasy Brown granite. This decade builder grade spec had all the basics from 2007, but nothing else. We spruced things up a bit by adding new hardwood flooring in the kitchen & refinishing the cabinets. If lighting is the jewelry of the home, & trim is the character, we gave this home some bling by replacing the light fixtures throughout and taught it a few morale lessons by adding crown molding and wainscoting.
Result
The homeowners were a newly married couple excited to move a little farther south away from the busyness of the city.
